Sights I Saw
Monday, April 10, 2000; posted by Paris

These pictures are from my journey to Amsterdam this past weekend.

Yes, more daffodil fields from the train. They are pretty neat.

A view looking from the back of Tram 3 in The Hague.

This is Leiden train station (taken from inside the train). Lots of colors and shapes.

I had to scale the furniture piled up in the hallway outside my door (notice the number 18) to get out. Here is an idea - stack them on their ends. Maybe then I could get by. In the meantime, I pulled the couch into my apartment.

On the third floor, an older couple watches everything from their picture window, every day, for the past 6 years (I am told).

The people-watchers: I noticed them awhile back (on the corner of Conradkade and Laan Van Meerdervoort) and will continue to watch them.

This is the inside of tram 3. Used every day to get to work.

Blue, white, red, purple - the strips of tulips (again shot from the train) are amazing.
