Rotterdam General Images Sunday, August 12, 2001; posted by Paris Here are some interesting places in the city. A combination view of the Rotterdam skyline - the Erasmus Bridge is a prominent feature of the landscape (Buffalo could use one). Here is the Hotel New York - formerly the Holland-America Line offices. Lisa and I took a water taxi across the harbor to visit the old Holland-America building (now a hotel). This is a very interesting building for the Dutch telephone giant KPN. The entire left side of the building is covered with a matrix of lights that display massive images and text. This is a picture of the entrance to the Rotterdam subterranean mall. This is the Westermeijer and the Mariner's museum along the Oude Haven. It is interesting to see awnings on a high rise (like we used to have in the US).
