Famous London Sites Wednesday, June 07, 2000; posted by Paris See below... Here is the amazingly comfortable bed at the bed and breakfast I like to stay at when in London. Very nice people run the place and they have a great breakfast. Traditional means of transportation: the double-decker red bus and the black cab. Covent Garden has many shops and vendors, including this one. We thought Mr. Bartz would appreciate the practical joke vendor. Another view of the covered Covent Garden. Many street entertainers, including dancers, clowns and others. Bought new Dr. Marten shoelaces at the nearby Dr. Marten store. A view of the reconstructed Shakespeare Globe Theatre on the banks of the Thames. This is taken from the Tate Modern gallery. Here is the apartment building Lisa lived in while studying in London in 1986. A blurry, passing shot of Scotland Yard - not much to see other than the sign.
