The tower is the tallest brick construction in the world, standing at 400ft. The church contains a work by Michelangelo and has the mausoleums of Mary of Burgundy and Charles the Bold. This is the Markt lined by restaurants and cafes (formerly guild houses). The edge of the Stadhuis can be seen on the right side of the picture. A bridge behind (I think) the Gruuthuse Museum. Snacking on Belgian waffles in the Markt. Another nice little square with bars and cafes. Stadhuis on the Markt. The tourists en-route to Brugge.
