Wild Weather
Sunday, March 05, 2000; posted by Paris

In Buffalo, we are used to wild weather changing every 15 minutes. Well, I think we have been outdone here. It changes every 5 minutes.

At any given moment it can be bright and sunny with blue sky, then it turns dark and super windy. Rain pours sideways and turns to snow. There is no escape from getting wet. Just as quickly it will clear up. The fotos below illustrate what happened on my street within a 15 minute period.

The winter months are supposed to be the driest. This will be interesting.

If you don't have any Cab Calloway music, you should turn off your PC right now and go buy some (or use your PC to buy it).

This is usually where umbrellas go to die after being destroyed by an owner foolish enough to attempt its use during the frequent gales. This is a common sight.

Nice blue sky and sunny after a brief squall 10 minutes before.

Another street view - sunny after a brief squall.

On my left view snow and rain 15 minutes later.

Here is the snow and rain blowing on the right view.
