Didcot, England Power Plant
Thursday, March 16, 2000; posted by Paris
The cooling towers could be seen from the M 4 (I think that is what we were on). Decided to sneak in after our meeting.
The power plant had 6 giant cooling towers. There was little noise. Although, the low-hum of machines could be heard depending on the direction of the wind.
No one stopped me - I guess they thought someone in a suit wandering around wasn't a problem. Wish I had my B&W cameras.
Jim - reminds me of TMI.

I liked the colors of the tail light in the bright sun.

Here is the happy welcome sign - inside the no admittance perimeter.
