Heathrow-Schiphol travel

The travel began at 8am with the first tram, then train to the Schiphol airport. Ended at midnight the same day. A quick visit to England.
These pictures show some sights from the day long journey.

The warehouse-like terminal 4 at London's Heathrow. Absolutely the worst lighting. Our warehouses have a better feel. Ick.

A view inside the main entrance to the Schiphol train station/airport.

Train platforms under the airport that run every 1/2 hour to the Hague (among other destinations)- about a 40 minute ride, depending on stops. Trains here are very reliable.

Another view of the main entrance area. All of the train platforms are below and the airport ticket counters are back and above. A number of people seem to be living in here and birds fly around in the morining.
